THE LIFE OF A FLUTiST

Hey'lo guys! My name is  Maceo. And I play the flute! I only started to play the flute about a 8 or 9 months ago and am already seeing little bits of progress in my playing. I went from not being able to make sound on the flute, to Playing songs like "Down By the Riverside" and "Are You Sleeping". Both being baby songs in my repertoire but still showing me how effort and determination can help you accomplish things.
  And that's what I want these posts to be about; Me sharing My experiences as we are going on this journey together! So grab your flute and start practicin'!
  The first thing I do before I play my flute is design "My Musical Schedule" (or MMS for short). An MMS is a chart or could be a to-do list that tells you what your gonna do for music today.
An example of this is;

  • Practice scales for XXX minute(s)
  • Practice tounging for XXX minute(s)
  • Play Etudes
  • Etc., etc.
 Or you could design a time frame of when your gonna do your flute practice.
An example of this is;
  • 10:00 Practice scales
  • 10:30 Practice tounging
  • 11:30 Practice Etudes
  • Etc., etc.
  I like the second one better cause you can directly tell what time to do what. Both methods can be used for almost any instrument.
   That's all for today folks and I'll see ya' next Tueday! Thanks for reading!

OUR NEXT HOGNOSE SEARCH COMING SOON!

OUR NEXT HOGNOSE SEARCH COMING SOON! Was'up guys! I know I haven't posted anything for a while but thats because I haven't had the time for a while.    So, on my last expidition  to finding the hognose snake I found nothing. Which was dissapointing yet only expected since they can be hard to find.   I've been doing deeper research on where to find the little critter. And here's what i've found so far: Watch ME look for a Hognose snake! The hognose lives in sand-pits and areas where there are dead leaves They only come out during the day They can be fond during spring and fall they can be found where in Pennsylvania and most northeastern States of America They like most amphibians but prefer toads the most They play dead when threatened They are not venomous They can grow almost to the size of a bed! So hopefully now with this information I can find a Hognose Snake! So stay tuned for the next episode of Exploring With Maceo!
